24" Grab Bar - Initial Review |

I just purchased/installed this shower grab bar. The bar is substantial and high quality. The bar has been on the tile wall and in use for a week now, and is working as expected (although I've been careful to only use it for "balance," not for bearing full weight).
Issues: I followed the instructions but was unable to force enough adhesive from the tubes through the center plate hole until it extruded out from the small side vent holes. Before seeing any adhesive in the small holes, the pressure on the tube began forcing the adhesive out around the neck of the tube in the center hole. This happened on both end plates. Consequently, I was unable to determine that there was sufficient adhesive under the plates. Nonetheless, I let things set/dry over 24 hours before installing the bar. In the short time since, the bar remains solid on the wall but I've been hesitant to put any real weight on the bar, since other reviews mentioned the bar coming loose.
